The Day I Hit Publish
Share
I’ve been painting for years. Some of it’s good. Some of it… well, let’s just say it’s in a drawer somewhere, never to be spoken of again.
I’ve always been one of those creative types, trying out a million things over the years to “make something.” Most of them didn’t stick. Not because I wasn’t trying, but because they didn’t really feel like me.
This? This feels like a rebellion.
So here we are. I hit publish... on a website with my name on it (FF Rebel, obviously).
And honestly, I still can’t decide if I feel brave or slightly ill.
Because let’s be clear, putting your work online, showing up on social media, saying “Hey, I made this and it might actually be worth something” that’s terrifying.
And not just in a “I hope this hoodie sells” way.
More like a “what if this entire thing flops and I have to hide in the woods forever” way.
But I hit publish anyway.
Right now, the shop isn’t fully ready. There’s nothing to buy (yet).
I’m ordering samples, testing hoodie quality, poking at settings I don’t understand, and wondering why every tiny step takes twenty times longer than I expected.
But hey — the blog is live. And that’s something.
If you’re here, you’re officially part of the beginning.
So welcome. You get to see the awkward, scrappy behind-the-scenes stage where I figure this thing out in real time , with art, rebellion, coffee, and a very patient AI sidekick named Nova.
Let’s build this thing. Messy and loud (or quiet). On purpose.
And maybe with a few detours along the way.
Just Getting Started
I don’t have all the answers. I’m learning as I go.
But I know one thing for sure — clicking “publish” changed something.
Not because everything is ready.
But because I’m finally doing it anyway.
So if you're standing at the edge of something you care about, wondering if it's time — this is your sign.
Start where you are. Loud or quiet. Ready or not.
You don’t have to be perfect.
You just have to begin.
See you in the next post.

Create loud. Rebel quietly. Or the other way around. 💛
